HOT Bricks are a convenient, affordable, and environmentally friendly replacement to burning cordwood. Imagine no bugs, no bark falling off, less mess, less loading the stove, and a cleaner burn. They have a uniform rectangular shape, which allows them to be tightly packed into a stove, these tightly packed bricks burn longer and more uniform. HOT BRICKS deliver more heat to your home because they kiln dry the wood chips. The low-moisture content of the tightly compressed wood bricks creates a longer, hotter, more efficient fire. Unlike cordwood, HOT BRICKS do not waste heat evaporating the water trapped in the wood fiber. Instead, heat is immediately available to warm your home. HOT BRICKS are a responsible alternative because they burn hotter and cleaner than firewood while still being economical.
THIS IS NOT FOR A PELLET STOVE! FOR WOOD STOVE, FIREPLACE, WOOD INSERT, FIREPIT, OR EVEN A BRICK OVEN! THIS IS A CORDWOOD/FIREWOOD ALTERNATIVE.
Do you enjoy saving money? If you and your neigbors purchase at the same time, we can coordinate a single trailer load delivery, virtually eliminating delivery costs! Plus, special consideration can be provided for personal loading services directly in the back of a garage (normally an additional fee).
You and your neighbors all burn wood bricks, so cash in on these savings ahead of time!
HOT BRICKS are efficient, all natural, pressed wood fuel developed as a cleaner, greener alternative to traditional firewood. They remove all the bark and kiln dry the wood fiber to allow the heat created during burning to transfer directly into your home rather than going up your chimney. A well-established HOT BRICK fire creates little visible smoke or creosote in your chimney and leaves one tenth the ash residue. More importantly they reduce smoke pollution by 1/3 to 1/2 versus cord wood. Firewood by comparison, well-seasoned firewood has moisture content around 20% or more and contains up to 20% bark. While burning firewood, much of the heat is wasted evaporating the moisture. The bark has low BTU value and leaves a large ash residue and creates harmful smoke pollution. The high moisture content and the dirty bark combine to carry the particulate matter and impurities into the environment in the form of smoke pollution and creosote. HOT BRICKS are Smarter and Greener because they reduce harmful smoke pollution.
We show both “Moisture Free” and the “As Received” BTU testing results so you can make informed comparison with other pellet fuels. Many pellet retailers only show the “Moisture Free” results to make the product appear better. The “Moisture Free” number is not a real world figure since that is only accurate once all of the moisture has been completely removed from the product. The true measure of heat content is the “As Received” value, that is how the pellets tested straight out of the bag and is equivalent to the heat they’ll give off when you burn them at your own home.
